Product Introduction

Description
Waterborne PU Adhesive for Shoe series boasts a long tack time and excellent bonding strength for various materials, including RB, leather, phylon, synthetic, and PU foam. With a long pot life, it is easy to use and offers excellent heat, water, and yellowing resistance. When high heat resistance is required, a water-emulsifiable polyisocyanate crosslinker (Product No. WPU-70-62I-80) can be added for optimal performance. Water is a diluent, making it a low environmental pollution adhesive series. Trust this adhesive to deliver the solid, lasting bond your footwear manufacturing process requires.
Application
Shoe assembly:
Waterborne PU adhesive can be used to bond different parts of shoes together, such as the sole, upper, and lining. It provides excellent adhesion to various materials, such as leather, rubber, and fabric, and can withstand the stresses and strains of daily use.

Insole bonding:
Waterborne PU adhesive can be used to attach the insole to the bottom of the shoe, providing a comfortable and secure fit for the wearer. The adhesive is flexible and durable, ensuring the insole stays in place over time.

Characteristic
1. Long tack time, great bonding strength.
2. Long pot life, easy to use.
3. Great water, heat and yellowing resistance.
4. Water is used as diluent, and low environmental pollution.
Process
Waterborne PU Adhesive for Shoe can add 3% - 5% hardener (WPU-70-62I-80) to increase heat resistance and overall performance.
Notice
  1. The containers must be kept tightly sealed, otherwise evaporization of water leads to the formation of a film which is not redispersible.
  2. Temperature above 40℃ must be avoided.
  3. The product is sensitive to frost, and must therefore not be stored at temperature below 5℃. It’s not possible to thaw the product after freezing.
  4. Waterborne PU adhesive for shoes can be stored at 5-40℃ for 6 months in original sealed containers.
