CPU-49-C100AS of liquid PU is low viscosity casting resin that yields castings that are ivory white and virtually bubble free. It provides the convenience of a 1A:1B by weight mix ratio. Fully cured castings are durable, tough, paintable and machinable. They resist moisture and mild solvents.
Applications
CPU-49-C100AS casting PU elastomer is outstanding for sculpture reproductions, production parts, models, casting decorative objects, tools, making prototype models, special effect props and decorative jewelry.

Process Method
  1. Casting PU elastomers are moisture sensitive and will absorb atmospheric moisture.
  2. Mixing tools and containers should be clean and made of metal, plastic or glass.
  3. Materials should be stored and used in a warm environment (25℃).
  4. Stir or shake both Part A & Part B thoroughly before dispensing. After dispensing equal amounts of Part A and B into mixing container (1:1 by weight), mix thoroughly.
  5. Stir deliberately making sure that you scrape the sides and bottom of the mixing container several times.
  6. Applying a release agent will prolong the life of the mold.
Note
Casting PU elastomers are moisture sensitive and will absorb atmospheric moisture. Material should be stored in dry condition.
